Description
Meet the mint with benefits. Flintts Sour Tangerine F-175 Mints are sugar-free, mouth-watering mints designed to help combat dry mouth while delivering the uniquely tingly sensation Flintts calls the Spilanthes Sparkle. Sour Tangerine pairs that signature mouth-watering effect with a bright, tangy citrus flavor and warm, sunny finish for a refreshing mint that's equal parts sweet, sour, and seriously mouth-watering.
The secret is Spilanthes, a flowering plant native to the Amazon and known for its mouth-watering properties. As the mint dissolves, Flintts' blend of plant extracts helps stimulate saliva production while creating a distinctive buzzing, sparkling sensation across the mouth. With an F-Strength of 175, Sour Tangerine sits on the milder side of the Flintts spectrum while still delivering an energizing Sparkle and noticeable mouth-watering effect.

What Is the Spilanthes Sparkle?
Flintts aren't ordinary breath mints. Their signature effect comes primarily from the Spilanthes flower, a plant native to the Amazon. Flintts uses plant extracts from Spilanthes and other natural sources to produce two noticeable effects: increased saliva and a pleasant tingling or buzzing sensation.
Flintts calls that sensation the Spilanthes Sparkle.
Depending on the mint's F-Strength and how you use it, that Sparkle can range from a subtle tingle to a surprisingly intense buzzing sensation. Sour Tangerine sits at F-175, making it one of Flintts' milder options and a good introduction to the signature Sparkle.
What Does F-175 Mean?
Every Flintts flavor receives an F-Strength rating, which indicates how much mouth-watering power the flavor packs and how intense its Spilanthes Sparkle will feel.
The higher the number, the stronger the experience.
Flintts explains that F-100 produces relatively subtle effects, with a faint Sparkle and mild, short-lived mouth-watering, while F-300 delivers an intense Sparkle and significantly more powerful saliva stimulation. Sour Tangerine's F-175 rating puts it toward the milder half of the spectrum.
Sour Tangerine F-175: Energizing Sparkle + noticeable mouth-watering effect.
That makes Sour Tangerine a great option if you're new to Flintts or want a flavorful mouth-watering mint without immediately jumping into the higher-intensity F-Strengths.
Why Mouth-Watering Mints?
Dry mouth isn't just uncomfortable. Saliva plays an important role in everyday oral health, helping keep the mouth moist, supporting swallowing and speech, washing away food particles, and protecting teeth and gums.
Flintts are specifically designed to make your mouth water, offering a completely different approach from ordinary breath mints that primarily rely on flavor for freshness.
Instead of only making your mouth taste fresh, Flintts stimulate saliva production to help your mouth actually feel less dry and more refreshed.
That makes them particularly convenient anytime your mouth feels dry; whether you're talking all day, traveling, heading out for the night, or simply want a little extra mouth-watering action.
Sour Tangerine Flavor
Bright, citrusy, and just the right amount of sour.
Sour Tangerine combines a tangy citrus flavor with a surprisingly warm, sunny finish. Flintts describes the experience as:
Tangy. Warming. Sunny.
The citrus flavor is paired with an energizing Spilanthes Sparkle and mouth-watering effect, while Flintts gives Sour Tangerine its appropriately cozy "Late Autumn Vibes" designation.

Why You'll Love It
Instead of simply masking dry mouth with flavor, Flintts uses Spilanthes flower extract to stimulate saliva production, creating a mouth-watering effect you can actually feel.
Sour Tangerine is especially appealing if you want a lower-intensity introduction to Flintts with plenty of flavor. Its bright, tangy citrus profile and warm finish pair with an F-175 intensity for an energizing Sparkle and noticeable saliva boost without reaching the stronger end of the Flintts lineup.
And because they're sugar-free, vegan, non-GMO, and made with tooth-friendly isomalt, Flintts put considerably more thought into these little mints than their playful branding might suggest.
For shoppers searching for Flintts Mints, Flintts Sour Tangerine, F-175 Flintts, mouth-watering mints, dry mouth mints, saliva stimulating mints, Spilanthes mints, or sugar-free mints, Sour Tangerine delivers bright citrus flavor with Flintts' signature tingle and mouth-watering effect.
