Written in non-academic language, Sex Toys 101 is an awesome reference guide, especially if you want to know a little of everything about toys, or want to do some research before you go shopping.
Sex Toys 101 gives you a great introduction to all types of sex toys. The chapters cover sexual anatomy, sexual expression & communication, vibrators, dildos & strap-ons, toys for men, lubricant, bondage & domination, SM, and safety.
Each chapter gives you everything you need to know about the toy pictured, from what it's made of, to how to care for it. I even learned the "recipe" for sex toy soup, which I can make with my non-vibrating silicone and pyrex toys and a pot of boiling water!
The other neat part of the book is the colorful and pleasing pictures that take some of the scariness out of sex toys, and make them look fun and non-intimidating. This, combined with sex positive language around toy usage, make this the best book for novices and experts alike. |
