While dinner and a movie are a great start, sometimes it’s nice to go the extra step.
I suggest you pick a day when your partner will be gone during the day, and will come home later in the night. This schedule gives you time to get yourself mentally and physically ready to surprise them with a great gift – a sexy you.
You really should start off the day by doing something that relaxes you. Whether it's playing video games, taking a nice relaxing bath, or curling up with some erotica, you should to be able to be relaxed for when you decide to reveal your sex evening to your partner. If you have kids, send them to a friend’s house or get a babysitter. Turn off the smart phone, and shut off the computer.
Next, take a shower or bath, and go ahead and clean yourself with even more care than usual. Go ahead and bring out the bath salts or a fabulous body scrub. Treat yourself like royalty now, so you'll be able to feel like royalty when you wear put on a sexy outfit later.
When you're completely scrubbed clean for your partner, give yourself time to leisurely get your bedroom ready for a nice, romantic night. This should be done slow and sensually, in order to give yourself time to relax, as well as get it all ready. Make the bed, as there is nothing like messing up perfectly clean sheets, and pick up any distractions lying around; children’s toys, books, DVDs, laundry, etc.
Try placing some massage oils or candles around the bedroom. If you do choose to use candles, just make sure to keep them away from anything flammable, and don't light it until right before your partner is due home. Both massage oil and candles are really great ways to increase the romance between you and your partner. Imagine the sweet scent of a nice candle while your partner is giving you a nice, soft massage. Sounds good, doesn't it?
That means it must be time to get into your sensuous apparel. Take your time, and whether you went for barely there lingerie, fetish wear, or nothing but a tie, make sure you add accessories that will match the look you're going for. Consider adding crotchless panties to your outfit to add an extra bit of spice to your already sizzling outfit. Perhaps a brand new pair of silk boxers or skin fitting boxer briefs would complete your look.
To make it even hotter, go ahead and lounge on your bed until your partner comes home. If you’re not into the bed idea, you could always have fun by lounging on the living room furniture when your partner comes in. Either way, the point is to have fun and make sure to have a great night. Leave the stresses of life out of this romantic night.
